Cancellations and Refunds

Notification in respect of cancellation and/or refund:

  • The renter must notify the rental company formally, in writing, of any cancellation due within 24 hours prior to collection and or delivery of the rental vehicle.
  • Formal notice by renter of cancellation must be addressed to audit@sani.co.za.
  • On receipt of formal notice of cancellation, the rental company will have up to 14 (fourteen) working days to process a refund.
  • If a booking is not cancelled in writing or telephonically and the renter fails to show up, a no show fee will be charged at one day’s rental.
  • In the event and to the extent that any cancellation, failure and/or delay is caused by or as a result of force majeure, the Rental Company shall not be liable to the Renter for any refund, but the Renter shall be entitled to reschedule/postpone bookings to a date within 12 months of the booking.
